Today on the last possible day of transfers Genoa bougth 20-year old defender: Tommaso Ghinassi of Pistoiese. The player is a great talent that plays for years in the Italian youth-teams.

Because Mr. Gasperini wants only 2 players for every position in the team, today Genoa sold 5 players:

Goalkeeper: Gianluca Pegolo (Mantova, Serie B)

Defender: Cristian Stellini (Bari, Serie B)

Midfielder: Lucas Rimoldi (contract is cancelled; destination unknown, probably Argentina)

Forwards: Martins Adailton (Bologna, Serie B) and Mirco Gasparetto (Chievo, Serie B)

Now Mr. Gasperini has on the playerslist 2 players for every position in his 3-4-3 system:

Goalkeeper: Rubinho-Scarpi
Defense right: Bega-Masiello
Defense middle: De Rosa-Bovo 
Defense left: Lucarelli-Santos
Midfield right: Rossi-Konko
Midfield middle defensive: Coppola-Juric
Midfield middle offensive: Milanetto-Paro
Midfield left: Fabiano-Danilo
Forward right: Papa Waigo-Leon
Forward middle: Borriello-Figueroa
Forward left: Di Vaio-Sculli

Besides those 22 players there are also 3 extra youngsters: Ghinassi, Signorini and Raggio Garibaldi

All of this means that our coach trust a lot on the physical conditions of Luciano Figueroa, because he is the only substitute of injured central forward Marco Borriello after the selling of Gasparetto to Chievo Verona today.
