Genoa Club Amsterdam

Genoa Club Amsterdam has chosen Mr. Gasperini as Genoano of the year for many reasons, but the way he let the team play is one of the most important. We thought and hoped that our sympathetic coach is inspired by the big three of Dutch (Ajax) and Spanish (F.C. Barcelona) football: Michels, Cruijff and Van Gaal, that all 3 were born in our city, Amsterdam. As we now know it really is true, as you can read in the article in Il Secolo XIX of Sunday 7th October:

  Today I have read your post in the Muro dei Grifoni, regarding the first time you saw our marvellous team. I was surprised you fell in love with our colours being an Ajax supporter!! How came? I mean, you are dutch, you live in Amsterdam, why have you chosen Genoa? I am really curious to know what happened in your brain (and heart) to make you change the team of your support.
  Have you got any ancient parents from Genoa. Maybe it is in your blood…
